Every so often my local puppy raising club goes places with the dogs as a group. Some times raisers will go to a school or community events to share about raising puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
On Thursday, I joined a couple puppy raisers at the YMCA summer camp to talk to the kids about puppy raising. We answered question, let them pet the dogs, and they helped with training. One girl said that she thought that only adults could raise Guide Dog puppies. I told her that kids nine years old and up could do it too.I had a lot of fun!
